This year's Character Counts! New Mexico State Conference was a great success! There were wonderful workshops that provided all participants with great new skills and materials to take back to their communities! Character Counts! New Mexico was also proud to partner with the New Mexico Broadcasters Foundation to provide $30,000 in high school scholarships to students around the state. The Pete V. Domenici Character Counts! Scholarship will be an annual effort and we thank broadcasters from across the state for participating and helping to recognize these great kids!

Chuck Hammond, General Manager of Clear Channel Radio in Albuquerque gave a scholarship to Jessica Lin - one of Clear Channel Radio's scholarship recipients - at the State Conference luncheon honoring the students.
Citadel Communications's General Manager Milt McConnell recognized several students who were able to attend the luncheon.
